Default Moving / Storing MMS Messages

I'm trying to figure out why my BB Torch 9810 has been sluggish, so I downloaded the Device Analyzer (I'm on OS 7.0), and ran Test Device Responsiveness test.

I'm showing only 22% free memory (that stayed the same after a restart too)

I see that I have 16039.1k of MMS messages on my device. That's way higher than anything else.

Per the suggestions of Device Analyzer:

    a) How do I locate and move the MMS messages to my Media Card? (I have PLENTY of room on the 16GB card), so I can delete them off the Device.

    b) Can I change the default (and if so, how) to store them on the Media Card rather than the Device.

Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance, as usual, for all of your help!

Hi icgoldman, I don't know the answer to that by hopefully someone will post some help. I am however, very curious where you downloaded the device analyzer from and what name it was under. I looked on App World but couldn't find it. I'm running 7.0.261(1355 bundle) and haven't upgraded as I have zero issues with this OS so why change until something I need is added. That said, I would like to get the device analyzer so if you could lead me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

Oh my gosh, it took me days and days to finally find it... I was so frustrated. And I'm not 100% that the link I'm about to post was the one. But from your phone's browser try:

Download: BlackBerry Device Analyzer for OS 7 and 7.1 | N4BB - News for BlackBerry - forums, leaks, rumors, videos, faqs, reviews

    On that page look for:

    Download BlackBerry Device Analyzer:

•OTA (Some users have reported errors)
    •ALX (Install using Desktop Manager)
    And click on "OTA".

I hope that's it and I hope that helps.

Now that I've played around with it, I'm not 100% how to interpret the results. LOL

It wouldn't work. It kept trying to get me to download a gaming site. No thanks! LOL It wasn't on the RRoy site anywhere either. I'll keep looking and thanks for replying.

I'm sorry that link didn't work for you. I thought that it was the one that I had used.

I wish I knew how to interpret the results from Device Analyzer though LOL

I'm still getting the hour glass a lot... and the occasional fast battery drain. Otherwise, I love my phone.
