Hi. My wife and I both have this same phone. Both have pretty much the same installed apps. However her facebook notifications will not delete and she gets an error every time she tries. I've done everything I can think of. I've wiped the phone back to factory settings. Installed nothing but facebook didn't change any settings and it still does the same thing. As soon as she logs in the phone will fill with notifications from more then a month ago. Go to delete and I get an error and they won't delete. The only way to get them to delete is to un install the app. But when you install again the problem is back. But on my phone using the same os same fb app they delete just fine. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?

I did a search and found the following answers:

1. you can sign out of facebook and then sign back in. It will get rid of stuck notifications.

2. You can do a battery pull to removed stuck notifications.

3. Uncheck the BlackBerry Message Application in Facebook Options

4. Go into the messages app, and tap the bar that shows the most recent date, then you will get the popup menu and it will have the option of "Mark as read".

Yea I've done all of the above. I don't wanna disable the feature just wanna fix it. It works fine on my phone don't understand why it doesn't on hers. Also when trying to sign out. It gets stuck. Pulling the battery works but once a notification comes in. They all come back again. Thanks for responding though =)
