Default Device Analyzer disappeared after theme change

    Hello,

I can no longer find Blackberry Device Analyzer after I changed the theme. Even after switching back to the default theme, I still cannot find it.

I have tried the ALT+BBDA method in options, I have tried searching for it, I've looked for it in 3rd party applications, I have shown all icons, etc. It still appears in my applications management and I have enabled all permissions.

    I'm stumped!

Uninstall it from the application management screen in your options and reinstall from the OTA link: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/24802104/OTA...20Analyzer.jad

You know, I have the same issue. I upgraded to .569, and Device Analyzer has disappeared as well. Same as OP, its shows in app management, but nowhere to be found on the actual device.
I'm going to try and delete it, and reinstall as suggested..

*Edit - Won't let me delete it either.

    A couple of suggestions:

    1) Look in the OS folder on your PC - is there an .alx file there for Device Analyzer?

    2) Make sure you do the ALT-BBDA when in the Advanced System Settings screen - not from the Options screen

You could try manually injecting the device analyzer .cods into your device using BBSAK - they should overwrite the DA .cods that are already on device - if the on device .cods are corrupted, this might solve the problem.

Other than that - only other suggestion is to re-load the OS to your phone - and you may want to consider doing a wipe with BBSAK first - but MAKE SURE TO DO FULL BACKUPS BEFORE DOING A WIPE WITH BBSAK.
