Desktop Manager...
I'm wanting to make is so that DeskTop manager doesn't start up every time my computer starts; I only want it, if I go and open it myself.
BB Desktop significantly slows down the amount of time it takes for my laptop to be usable and done loading stuff upon being started up..
But I can't figure out how to do this.
Any tips? - 01-29-2013, 01:55 AM #2
Do you have your Blackberry plugged in to the computer when it starts? Do you have Desktop manager in the Start Up folder (assuming you are on Windows)?

Assuming you are on Windows.... in the start menu is a folder call "Start Up" - any shortcuts for programs in there will automatically start with the computer.

Get the pc software "ccleaner". Its a small tiny app and it will show you which apps run at startup and you can either disable them or disable and remove them. Its a handy lil app and very small in both size and memory footprint on your system. there are other ways but they are more technical so that's why i haven't suggested em since you are not a techie.

What doesn't kill you could very well injure you.
Also, its morally wrong to allow naive end users to keep their money
