Bluetooth call quality?

I've had my 9810 for just under three months, and have had sporadic problems with calls becoming garbled when I am using Bluetooth.

At first I thought it might have been my headset, but this morning I went back to a Bluetooth connection in my car and had the same problem. Typically a call starts out fine, then at some point the voice starts cutting in and out.

I'm currently using OS 7.1.0.402 and also use Bridge connection to my Playbook. I figure this may be either an OS issue, Bridge issue or hardware issue. I have a week left on my 90 day return to Costco where I could pick up a new phone to replace this one if it is a hardware issue.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues using Bluetooth?

No such issues here, but I have a 9930.

It might just be the phone itself. Is it still under warranty? I would check and see if getting a replacement would be better. It sounds as if the use of the Bluetooth is very important to you. I personally use a Jawbone Prime with mine and I seem to have no trouble. Good luck!

I would try a different OS. There have been a slew of problems reported with 402(never used it because of these findings). I use a BT headset every day and haven't had a single problem with it on my 9810 running on 391.

I am running .402 and have never had a problem with it. My Jawbone shadowbox provides clear two way communication. What kind of bluetooth device are you using? It could be your earbud, not the phone that is the problem.
