BlackBerry Presenter with Torch 9810
I recently received a BlackBerry Presenter as a gift. It's a pretty cool piece of hardware, and supposedly works on BlackBerry smartphones with OS 4.5 or later. Unfortunately, I've encountered a problem - the Torch 9810 is listed on the web site ( BlackBerry - Presenter - Wireless PowerPoint for BlackBerry ) as one of the smartphones supported by the Presenter software, yet whenever I try to load the software on my 9810, I get a message from the web site that my phone is not supported.
Does anyone have Presenter working on the Torch 9810? If so, did you experience any problems getting it installed (and if you did, how did you overcome them)?
If not, does anyone have any idea whether the "it's supported / no, it's not" is just another bit of RIM schizophrenia, or potentially a problem unique to my phone?
Notes: The OS on my phone is up to date (according to BlackBerry Desktop). I've also checked for answers to this question in the RIM Knowledge Base and support forum, and haven't found anything.
Any help or constructive suggestions greatly appreciated. - 06-08-2012, 06:46 PM #3
For those who don't have it available in appworld, I have found the solution. I have confirmed it on my 9810, however not for any other BB os7 phones. Hoping to find out which ones do work with it

The only thing is that touch screen doesn't work, but the scroll works just fine.
