Default BB protect not working on 9810/7.1.0.428 (B1424)

    Hi guys,
I just updated my 9810 to .428 and now my BB protect won't work.
It says "Your wireless service plan doesn't include BB protect"

I'm sure its not because of my provider, BB protect was working when I use .402 last night

    Thanks

You're sure about that? I just completed my BB Protect backup on .428...

    reinstalling BBprotect not helping also

    anyone can help?

Odd-on .378 and Protect is working great! For the heck of it, why don't you do a quick search for any hidden Vendor.xml files that may be lurking from ATT on a previous download/phone. I had that happen on my wife's phone and even though I deleted the two that we all know about, there were two more hidden in an old BB file. Don't remember where unfortunately but I'd do a search on your PC Start button and see if you can find any--also empty your recycle bin on your PC. Not saying this is it but worth looking at anyhow. Good luck and keep us posted.

BB Protect running fine on .428 (Telstra) for me. Backup successful, and website shows my battery-level and location accurately.

Just reload it (BBPROTECT) and restart it. It's free and a great program. It's still on your AppWorld/MyWorld under uninstalled.
