hi,
i recently upgraded my 9810 os to 7.1.0.378 and i notice that my battery drains very quickly even if the phone is just sitting there, so i did a battery analyzer test and found out that my mobile network usage is using 88% of my battery...what can i do to help improve my battery life? (i've already changed my backlight brightness to 10% and activated battery saving mode)

Have you done a battery pull or two? You also might want to wait for a couple of days and see if it is a consistent problem or one of those weird things that happen. One other thing that has caused battery drain on this OS on other phones is the CB app. If you have it installed, delete it and see if battery life improves.

Do you have Wi-Fi running? If you do and you are out of Wifi the phone will constantly search for it and it will eat the battery like mad. Also, are you out of range of your mobile network? It will have the same effect.
