    Default 9810-North America?

So, I am currently with Verizion, I would love to have a 9810 as my next BB, but not crazy about paying more at AT&T, what other carriers carry the 9810 in North America?

    Thanks

Just pick up a lightly used unlocked one on e-Bay and hook it up to Verizon. I recently picked one up for cheap and love it.

I won't put up some Google link. I'll use my words and tell you that T-Mobile carries it (though it's kind of hit or miss because they discontinued it, but still sell them...), and I'm not sure who else. I have T-Mobile and love my Torch. I'm on a 2GB a month data plan, and I have never gone over the data cap. T-Mobile is a lot less expensive than Verizon is. I live in L.A., so I get "4G" pretty much everywhere. Depending on where you live, a switch from Verizon to T-Mobile might save you money and let you have the Torch. I know that there would be NO reason for me to switch to Verizon, for where I live.

It isn't a matter of some guy posting a Google link, it's a simple thing called research. what you are doing is assuming that the OP needs this information, whereas he can look it up himself/herself, then return here for "personal" insight into the specific plans and options that are available. That having been said, he stated 'north america' a very vague subject considering that Canadian carriers could be considered in the criteria, not just T-mo

    Hey Mike,

    1) T-Mobile still carries the 9810 (sort of) - it appears that if you are a current customer, it will show on their website for upgrade; if you are a new customer it does not show up. Having said that - check the local TMOB corporate and independent retailers - the local TMOB corporate store and the local independent in my area both have and will sell you a 9810 as a new customer.

    2) The poster who stated picking up a 9810 and using it in on Verizon - CAN'T BE DONE - the 9810 is made for GSM networks (AT&T and TMOB) - Verizon (and Sprint) are CDMA networks and the 9810 is not compatible.

    Hope this helps . . .

Yes, helps quite a lot, I did not think I could use a GSM phone on CDMA, I will definately check TMOB,
