Hi guys I was wondering the owners of the white 9810 do ur photos look washed out compared to those of the black 9810? Seems like my white one is giving me washed out photos, I havent adjusted the settings or anything so Im jus wonderin.. Lemme knw plz..

Mine look great. I have never had a problem with my camera. Might want to check your settings. What OS are you running?

Our white one takes better shots than our Black one. Also, off-topic, the white keyboard is way better than the black one.

I dont see the difference in how they take photos but IMHO i think the black 9810 keyboard feels waaay more comfortable than the white. The white seems to still have the 9800 keyboard, while the black is different .

Clean your lens! Dip a microfibre cloth into denatured or rubbing alcohol and gently wipe it. My white 9810 used to take great pictures. Here's one.

I have exactly the opposite situation. The black one feels slightly better than my 9800, the white one feels much, much better. We've also replace both of them (within two weeks of getting them - light leaks), and the replacements were the same; white keyboard much, much better (almost 9900 like, almost). I swear every time I use my wife's phone knowing I changed my mind last second and got myself a black one.

Op, I Don't think there could be any reason for difference in photos taken by both White and black as their camera lenses are exactly same. Check your settings.

It could just be your phone, maybe the camera has a flaw in it. Mine seem to look better than any other phone I've ever had, including the boyfriends T9800...I would get it checked out by a tech and see if maybe they can switch you phones out. If the other phone does the same thing, then you know it was the first one. Good luck!

Sounds more like something with your device... the camera should work just as fine as with any other torch 9810.

My white 9810 takes great photos, in some situations with low lighting better than my wife's Iphone4, in brighter settings, the iphone 4 is slightly better. Check whether you have the flash on. I found the same problem initially, but it's not noticable anymore. Still the best pics are taken outdoors during the day.

thanks yalll but Im thinkin its the screen quality of phones built in 2011 to 2012...Ive tried out 2 2011's and their cams and screen seem wash out but the 2012 screen is brighter and the cam is also clearer

Maybe thats why I didn't notice a difference, I have the 2012 model. Might have just been something that was a goof on the manufacturers part.

You do realize the screen and camera parts(as well as other interchangeable parts)are more then likely stock left over from making the 9800? They are identical parts as well as part numbers.
