Default 9810 7.1 Bonus!

Hello,

I have the BlackBerry Torch 9810 running the latest 7.1 leak for this device.

Three obvious benefits are:

- mobile hotspot
- battery save mode
- DLNA

I just discovered a fourth, perhaps not even "real" bonus.

I was walking home from the store after purchasing some chicken (honey garlic wings from the store across the street). Anyways, my phone suddenly "bricked" with the "reset" option (error code 507). This typically means a guy has a bricked, but fixable BlackBerry.

So, as usual, I clicked "reset" and figured I would have to fix my phone using a PC.

However, the BONUS is - it actually reset and rebooted successfully and that has never happened to me with a "bricked" BB, until 7.1.

My theory is, maybe i'm wrong, but somebody at the RIMPIRE figured out how to actually "reset" from the white screen without reloading OS using BDM... and if so, BONUS FEATURE

who knows, if this is correct, WOOHOO, go RIM

Forgive me, as usual, if this was already discovered, or posted

Love Peace Chicken Grease

I actually got this with my 9930 on a really old build. Some 7.0 build. It fixed itself in 10 minutes.
