2430 mAh battery
Just got my 2430 mAh battery, it's all charged and in the phone. I'll let you know if it really does last longer or if I just wasted 6$. LOL

Re: 2430 mAh battery
Well, actually I haven't learned anything yet. LOL. My BB Guru told me to take it out, put it back in the charger and leave it for 12 hours. Then I'm supposed to try it again. He also said it would take 5 or 6 times of this before it reaches maximum charge. Unfortunately, I don't have that much patience. LMAO

I just use two batteries, but the stock JM-1 battery usually lasts me most of the day! - 01-04-2013, 08:35 AM #8Torch 9810, 7.1.0.861

2430 mAh battery
I just went with a portable charger from IO magic, I got at staples for $30. It has an internal 3500 mah battery, and puts out the standard 5v at 1000 ma, also has a light up metter on the from to tell you the charge level of the battery. Can be charged from any micro usb charger, and has a regular usb port, so you can charge anything from it that you have a cable for. Works amazing I think, I can fully charge my 9810 2X from it, and it dose so faster than my regular black berry charger.

One thing you need to know, when you add a bigger battery on your device, it will not be plug and play without issue, you will have to charge it more than 100 % (it will not show up 105% or something like that, but will keep charging) do some battery pull when it's full and try to recharge it again, so your guru was kind of right. The phone know what % to use with the official battery, if you increase that, the phone need to figure out what is the % on the new battery.
Same thing will happen when you go back to your regular battery, it will not show as fully charge until you do battery pull.
My experience with extended battery, they all suck. Do you think RIM would give us this battery if there was something bigger to use ? specially that Blackberrys are known to have good battery life. I don't think so, but hey I'm not a RIM employee.
