    Use a wifi connection. That's the only thing you can do. The video quality is dictated by the kind of connection you're on.

    Define looks like crap?

    While on the mobile network the video quality is defined by the speed of your carrier(IE looks all pixelated and stops to buffer frequently). While on wifi youtube looks no worse then my pc.
