Along the notification bar there is a symbol of a letter with an asterisk above it, yesterday i disconnected my email from it and i don't use any social networking, what is it and how do i stop it???


P.S: It has a 4 next to it like i have 4 notifications but when i click it lists nothing, and now my LED light won't stop!

Is the symbol a small blue quote box with an * or a black circle with an *? I'm sure you probably know what the BlackBerry messenger symbol looks like which would be the blue quote box.

If that's not it is probably an update for BlackBerry app world or one of the apps you have downloaded in app world. Check and see if that fixes it, and if not please describe what the symbol looks like.

You have an unread msg somewhere, start browsing thru your message folders and see if something pops up

Check in saved messages.....its easy to accidentally save an unread message

Nice work, the Saved Msgs icon has been hidden on my Bold for so long , I forget it's even there.
