What does this symbol indicate?
I have been getting this symbol for the last few days. looks ominous... please advise.
I am talking about the Red circle with 3 bars in the middle (Centre of the screen).Last edited by stonedsufi; 04-11-2012 at 01:31 AM. Reason: missed a pointer

...
Never seen that one before... It looks like a custom application push notification (as that's usually what it is when it is unrecognized). When you bring down the drop-down menu is there a better description?
Here is a page with a description of all the Supplied Icons for the 9900/9930
Home screen icons - BlackBerry Bold 9900/9930 Smartphones - User Guide - BlackBerry Bold Series - 7.0
As you can see it isn't listed there, so I'm at a loss here. Maybe someone else in the CB forum may be able to elaborate
Good luck!

Both of you are right. 1) it was not a stock Blackberry status indicator, 2) It was resulting from enabling the Night LED on Advance OS & LED.
