Ok, Had my white torch for about 24hrs. The more I fiddle with it the more I like it, But right next to the led indicator is another " dot " what is that???
its the ambient light sensor. its hard to see on black Torches as its under the darker black part of the screen. it tells the phone when to dim the screen or light up the keypad. with the lights on, slide the keypad open. then use your finger to cover the sensor. your keypad will light up.

As well it acts as the proximity sensor so you won't accidently touch certain keys on the touch screen while on a call.
