Normally...there're online prices and store prices. Just to give you an example: a phone in an AT&T retail store could be $199 after a mail-in rebate and $99 with NO mail-in rebate on att.com. Don't ask me why they do this.
In the stores, they'll price match it most of the time. But AT&T won't price match with Wal-Mart. Why? Cause Wal-Mart will price match their mamas!!
It could be more in an actual Wal-Mart store than it is on walmart.com. But, the store might be willing to price match.
Just for the record...I got mine off of walmart.com yesterday for $99 with overnight shipping. Still waiting for damn thing to come in!
I bought mine at walmart store at $178, and I wonder if the store is willing to price match to $99 as their online store is at that price.
Has anyone try price match and get result (not just with 9800, but other device which price online at walmart.com is lower than price at walmart store)?
They won't price match in store -- they'll just tell you to go online, and that the in-store price is the price.
I wanted to get a Wii game for my kids that a Google search showed Walmart selling for almost $17 less than everywhere else. Two different Walmarts told me the same thing: online only.
I guess I'll just have to return the torch and buy online again... i already unlock the phone, put screen protector and the phone is no issue, but $90 difference is too much to be ignored ($178 + tax vs $99)
Here in Alabama - Walmart has the Torch for $178.00 + tax. They told me that they would not price match it for the $99.00 price. That seemed odd to me...
But anyway....I'll be getting mine online for $99.00.
