Any ideas? No ring tones, no audio playback from videos. But if I record a voicenote, and play it back the speaker works fine. No sound from headset if I switch to headset mode, but can hear people after a call is started.

I have tried wiping, deleting applications, downgrading OS and then reinstalling the latest. No luck.

I also notice that the camera comes up a blank screen.

The previous owner of this had some 3rd party apps installed, i'm wondering if there is some memory leak or setting that I am not able to remove by these methods?

Is there a program that will actually flash / erase firmware level and reinstall completely from scratch?

Thanks to anyone who offers some advice. I consider myself fairly technical and have tried everything to restore this back, as I don't believe this can be a hardware problem if the speaker works playing back voicenotes.
