I have a BB 9800 that I purchased in August of 2010 and the battery is no longer holding a charge for a sustain period of time. Today was the first time I went from Full Charge when I woke up in the morning to a Red Battery Icon roughly 3 hours later.

What have other people experianced in regard to batteries, is it common to need to replace a BB battery after 1.25 years?

Could the problem be with the BB's electrical system, I do not want to replace the battery and have a new battery drain just as fast?

try chargin it for a whole day, i kinda had the same problem, and that made a result, if not, u gotta replace battery
