    Hi,

    I have just got my new Torch from Vodafone UK and it has OS v6.0.0.246 on it.

    I have already downloaded v576 (and also BBSAK). Do I need to wipe the current OS before installing 576 ?

    you don't need to, but it's recommended.

    Thanks for that.
    Managed to upgrade without much problem.

    After new OS was installed the handset took longer than I expected to reboot (5 sweaty minutes), but just before i was about to reload the OS it completed the boot. Now all seems to be great.
