Unsolicited voice messages playing on phone
I'm on holiday presently in another country and have just had my Torch 9800 play 2 voice files which I have no idea where they came from.
The first one played last night and the second one played a few min's ago. This one said 'are you making love' and the one last night was a different message but similar type.
I have no idea where or how this could have happened, but one min the phone is sitting quietly in my pocket, the next it's playing these messages out loud.
I normally use POP3 email but y'day logged onto my yahoo email a/c over the web on my laptop and got some strange porn type emails which may be connected in some way to it.
Anyone seen this before please? - 04-07-2012, 03:25 PM

I'm no further in sorting this problem other than I've noticed that I can get the voice file to play when I press the MUTE button on the top right corner of the phone.
The played message is either 'I already love' or 'I already laugh'.
Where could this sound file be stored and how could it have got onto the phone? - 04-08-2012, 09:57 PM #3
I believe that the mute button seems to be a quick key for messages. as i have hit the mute key before and i get they message you have no new messages or something to that effect. I havent figured it out how to turn that function off though yet

Thanks Joe. I've no idea what's happening here but for some reason the voice file no longer plays? I can't help think it is or was a virus but maybe B'Berry's do not suffer from this problem?
Anyway, it's gone now without any intervention whatsoever but I'm sure this will happen on someone elses phone so this thread may help.
