Caught a glimpse out of my eye and while I doubt it was a Berry it certainly had the look and made for an interesting thought. Imagine the top of the storm/Jav. The screen and 4buttons with trackball of the Bold and that's the device. From beind the screen slid down a qwerty keyboard (this is really what made it look Berryesque). It looked like a Bold or Jav keyboard with the curve to the whole board (the smile if you will). Now, if the screen was touch you would have access to all menus with touch and use an onscreen keyboard for simple tyoing. But when you're ready to type hardcore, drop the keyboard down and get to texting! Wspecially if the keyboard not only slid down, but towards you to be flush with the top portion.

I was at work serving at a restaurant. Wish I'd had time to investigate it. Doubtful it was any prototype. I don't really iive in a market for that. That's just what it looked like as I briskly walked by. Cool thought tho.

No it wasn't the Hint but that's the same concept as the Blitz. It probably was the Blitz. The Keyboard is verry Berryesque on that thing! Wonder if they bought it from RIM? Plus thr speaker bar at the top. Most likely what I saw. Thanks for solving the case!
