im having a issue with my 9800 torch.
using software 6.0.0.448 and every time im on the phone and a txt msg comes in it ends my phone call... its extremely annoying, especially if its a important call...

i have my profiles set so that non the the programs are to notify my during phone calls.
it seems like the phone puts txt messages as a higher priority than every other program... i think phone calls should be the highest priority...as it is a phone first, then everything else is does is 2nd.

any ideas? is this a knows issue with this software?

update your OS to another carriers build, .666 works well ... search the forum for instructions on how to install another carriers OS.

Just to make sure, go to profiles>sounds and ring tones>sounds for selected profile>messages - notifiers>text messages then scroll down to the bottom of the page and make sure that the Exception Conditions box "notify me during calls" is unchecked.
