Two things that bug me about the media player on the Torch:

    1) Have to use the keyboard's "Del" button to remove a song from a playlist, can't use the BB key and bring up a menu with a delete option

    2) Can't exclude a song from Shuffle

Is this how it is or am I not seeing something here?

    exclude a song from Shuffle?
How does this work in other media players. I've never done this before. When a song comes up I don't want to hear righ now in shuffle I just skip to the next one.

When you are in your playlist list of songs, when you hit the blackberry button, there is an option to "remove". As for your second problem, I just do like 13ehco4 and just skip to the next one.

Hmm.. odd.. I didn't see the delete option in the menu the last time I looked.

As for skipping a song, that's not always practical, especially while driving.

As to how it works in other players, In iTunes you can mark a song "skip when shuffling".

Just in case you're not aware, holding the volume-up key will skip the track.

    Thank you

I was not aware of that. Even works when the screen is locked. Nice.

No problem. Of course, holding the volume-down key will do the opposite.
