I have just had the SIM card transferred from my SE Satio to my new-to-me BB Torch 9800. I had always kept contacts on both SIM card and phone memory, but the EE shop assistant said that they could not transfer them to the BB, and suggested I put the SIM card back in the old phone (which won't work without it) than physically write down all the contact details (some 250+!) then input them into the BB. Is there some smpler way? I could not access them via my computer from the old phone yesterday.

Backup to memory card. Use device switch. Import from memory card. Orelse use bluetooth.

Thank you, but as a complete BB novice I am not sure where to find the various components you mention! The phone is not currently recognising the presence of any contacts.
