transfer music and videos from memory card to phone memory?
My old phone from 2 years ago or so was a LG Xenon and I had a 4 gig card in it. Now I have a BB 9800 and a new 4 gig card. I got a lot of pictures, videos, and music on the old card that I'd like to copy to the phone, then be able to put it on my new memory card so I can have access to it at anytime. I know just moving it with a computer would be easier, but I don't have a computer. So is there anyway to copy that media from the old card to the phone and then copy it from the phone to the new card?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. - 06-01-2011, 10:24 PM #2
Have you installed the old card in the device and seen whether you can access the data? Should be pretty much a plug and play type of thing.
Not having a computer shouldn't be too much of an issue here, if necessay, your Public Library usually has computers you can do such a thing with. You do have a card adapter that you can slide the micro card into to use in a standard-sized SD slot, I would venture to ask? If you don't, you'll need one.

The cards are interchangeable. If the old and new memory cards are both 4GB, why not simply use the old memory card with your new Torch?

Put the card in your old phone. Connect it to your computer (unless you have a card slot on your computer). Copy what you want from your card then plug in your torch and drag and drop the copied stuff to your torch. I had a media card in my Jack, but it did not work in the Torch (error message). My experience only, and this was my work around.

The OP clearly states they don't have a computer.
