Checked the Forum and haven't seen anything in about 6 months on this. Any chance Verizon will offer the Torch or Torch 2 any time soon??

We haven't seen any evidence of the Torch 2 on Verizon, probably on AT&T just like the original. Especially since the Torch is GSM!
The next full touchscreen you'll probably see on Verizon is the BlackBerry Monaco.
There are three new Blackberry devices being released on Verizon this year.

The Torch was developed by RIM in partnership with AT&T, so . . . no.

Exactly, just like you'll never see a Curve or Bold on Verizon because they're not GSM. Oh wait......Curve 8300 GSM/8330 CDMA and Bold 9700 GSM/9650 CDMA

The real issue is the exclusivity deal with AT&T, as Jas mentioned.

As someone mentioned, won't the Torch Touch (9850 or 9860, I can't remember which number) be coming to Big Red?

It would also have to be a different number. So a 9800 would not be on vzw. Your own comment explains this with you mentioning both phones. I'm glad you noticed this. Thank you for your time

Btw. 8310 was on att but not sprint. Did sprint partner up with rim for the style or is it coming to Tmo? Just food for thought

No kidding, really? The OP didn't ask if the 9800 was coming to VZW. Try again
