Why is the Touchscreen keyboard on the torch not an individual key qwerty keyboard instead of letters doubled up? Anybody have any ideas? Will RIM change this? Can it be done in a software update?

Keyboard is SureType in portrait mode and full QWERTY in landscape mode. Isn't that the way it was on the Storm?

You just need to go into your setting and in the keyboard option change the layout. Some people prefer them doubled because it makes the keys bigger in portrait mode. I have mine set to a full keyboard though in both portrait and landscape. I like each letter to have its own key also.

+1 there are actually 3 types of keyboards that you can use:

    1. multi touch
    2. sure type
    3. QWERTY

go back to the Set up icon to do this!
