how's the speakers on the blackberry torch compared to the iphone 4? or compared to the bold 9700, 9000?

My Torch speakers are better than my iPhone but I think my wife's 9780 speakers are better than my Torch. Nothing compares to the 9000 - those speakers are the greatest ever.

I think the Bold 9700 and 9780 have better speakers than the 9800. I'd say its equivalent to the iphone4

The 9800 is OK. Not good enough for me to use for music and nowhere near the 9000. That was a monster for speakers.

The Torch does what I need. My love for the device is not hindered a bit by the low level speakers. Not necessary for life these days.

best surround sound effect and speakers are of bold 9000. Though I have torch now, but nothing like the sound of the bold.

it does not compare to 8900 either, my 8900 speaker was loud clear and great. The torch one is not loud at all, clear but not great.

With my 8900, I was able to take a shower and listening to my music, with the 9800, I can't not even hear my phone ringing (while in the shower).

Have to agree with everyone. The 9000 speakers are by far the best sounding I've heard on a phone. 9800 not so good, but on par with similar devices in the market (i.e. Iphone). The 9700 are slightly better, but not by very much imho.
