Someone gave me their Torch (AT&T branded but unlocked) and they told me there was a problem.
The issue is when you put a bit too much pressure on the top slider and push open the phone, it causes the phone to freeze and then it reboots.
I have not try updating OS yet (it's on 526 but i'm waiting for 600). However, I don't think updating OS will fix the issue. Is this more of the slider problem where it's hitting something underneath? I haven't taken the phone apart yet.
Sounds completely like a hardware problem. With a little luck it could just be a loose flex chord or something if you are comfortable taking it apart, might be a quick fix
ok, so i took it apart... i couldn't take it apart all the way, i couldn't get grip on one of the t3 screws. but i put the phone back together now the touchscreens works occassionally and reboots.
