Torch Keeps Freezing...Bad Unit or Common Problem?
- My torch keeps freezing, particularly when I am trying to back out of my work email account and text messages to get to the home screen. It will just sit there frozen for 5 or 10 seconds before it follows though with the command(s).
I have already reset multiple times and the problem persists.
The display totally screwed up once, only showing half the screen and I had to reset for that, too.
I'm thinking I may have a bad unit. Is anyone else having similar problems?09-20-10 12:08 PMLike 0 -

- I've had my phone 5 days and the only problems I've had have been minor fixed with a battery pull. Had a text message that would not clear from notifications bar despite already having deleted the text. And this morning my browser wouldn't open. Try upgrading your OS or exchange.

Is that from the blackberry desktop manager screen??? Sorry but new to all this. My torch has frozen up several times, took it back once, got a new one and it's freezing now. Did a hard reset, wiped out everything now everything is totally screwy and I'm getting extremely frustrated. Done back up but afraid it has the problem in the back up and when I restore all I do it put the problem back on. AHHH help please11-26-10 07:20 AMLike 0

Disabling this feature solved many issues for me, including freezing, and there was no discernible downside.

Today I got another refurb because it froze and nothing would get it moving. Turns out RIM has their system down, not way to get my phone back working and they tell me MANY customers will be without email, etc this weekend. TIme to move on to apple?10-01-11 06:32 PMLike 0
