Each time one of my google talk or MSN contacts changes his status message I get a social feed alert. Is there a way to disable that?

Do you have yourself as a friend/buddy/contact? Maybe its picking up that you have a friend/buddy/contact with an updated social feed, the friend/buddy/contact being you.

go to your social feeds options and select display, uncheck any of the applications that you don't want to receive a notification.

Thanks, that worked basically uncheck the googletalk and msn. I'm guessing that will not affect IM messages from these apps. Any idea why that was included in the first place? only to alert you when your chat buddies status text change or is there another aspect of msn and google talk that the social feed monitors?
