- Hey everyone,
I'm currently using a Bluetooth headset with my Torch. It's a Blackberry HS-500 Bluetooth headset, it looks and works great. I have a question though...
I would really like to be able to hear the email/bbm/msn/text msg/ etc notifications in my ear when I'm wearing the headset. I usually don't have a problem since I hear the incoming calls when I'm driving (usually with loud music playing) so I have no trouble lowering the volume and answering the call. But, sometimes I'm waiting for the notifications I mentioned above, usually from work realted issues, and I need to be able to know with a sonic warning through the headset, just like for incoming calls. The LED doesn't cut it, since it's usually flashing blue because of the Bluetooth headset, plus, I don't really have the Torch facing me when I drive.
Any ideas on how to do this? Is it possible?
Thanks!03-11-11 07:18 PMLike 0 - SlcCorradoBlackBerryYou could turn off the Bluetooth led. As far as volume goes, I get all my notifications through Bluetooth in my car. I assumed it was the same on a headset.
PS, you shouldn't wear headphones while you drive. Just a heads up
