Torch 9800 stopped accessing specific hot spot
My Torch and my Playbook both recently stopped accessing the public wifi at work. I tried restoring them both back to points where it worked, but no luck. To my knowledge, there's been no change in the wifi at work that would be aimed at excluding Blackberries...all of my coworkers, with their iphones, Samsung phones, laptops etc have no problem, and they both connected fine in the past...they don't even acknowledge the wifi as open and available, even though it is.
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas what may have changed on my phone and my playbook that might have caused this? I haven't updated OS or anything, and they are bridged together, but even when I disconnect the bridge, neither will connect.Emergency Medicine interferes with Natural Selection. - 06-19-2012, 03:56 AM #2
there was a change in the wifi at your work, maybe some hardware change?
Some WIFI hardware can be problematic with Blackberry devices, i had some issues over the time with some routers and such..
