So, the Torch came out on August 12, which by my calculations means that the six month anniversary will be in just a couple of days.

Does anyone think that other carriers might now get access to the Torch? I haven't seen any rumors about this lately, but I'd very seriously consider getting a Torch if it were to come to Sprint. Any thoughts?

Doubt it, and doubt Sprint even more...

Likely the Torch 2 won't even hit cdma.

Again, since AT&T helped develop the Torch, their stake in the phone is more than usual. at least in the U.S.

It wasn't the usual "hey, cellular carrier, we have this phone. You want it?".

Would guess that the Torch is not leaving AT&T, just as the Storm never left Verizon!

Well, on the other side Sprint was the first carrier announced to be getting the new Playbook, right? One would think that to make a good impression with this device, they'd want it to be available with their flagship phone. Plus, AT&T is now releasing new "exclusive color" Torches. So it would make sense in a certain way to see the Torch coming to Sprint, no?

The playbook was never exclusive, so it doesn't really mean anything.
