threaded sms/mms not working!

Hi All,
So my torch was just fine, until about a week ago, now all of a sudden all of my texts/mms's are not threaded together. like if i send a picture (from the camera) and the person i sent it to replies, they will go in two separate lines in my messages. it's so frustrating! like i'm having two different conversations with the same person at the same time!
does this make sense? anyone know how to fix it?

No, not really. They will always be separate. You can alter how they're displayed using either Strips or Bubbles in the sms message options.

But they used to be all together. I've had my phone since January, and only in the last week have they been separating. I have no clue what would've caused it?!
