I got my Torch today and boy, that AT&T logo is awful!

I decided to try to remove the logo using a copper coin, just like I used to do with my Raybans. And… it worked. No marks or scratches, just a clean unbranded Torch. This method is absolutely safe and does not leave any marks or scratches on your device:

Just take a copper coin. Do not use coins made of other metals, use a copper coin. The copper is just hard enough to remove the screenprinted paint, and soft enough not to scratch the surface of the bezel. Just simply scratch the paint off, don’t be afraid to apply a little pressure, it’s not gonna scratch.

Now I know you guys aren’t gonna take my word for it so I put up a .

Enjoy the video and your brand new Torch!

I also scratched off the Tmobile logo on my white BB 9700. But I used my finger nails instead...

Just tried it, took about 15 seconds like I was scratching off a lottery scratch-off ticket.

Used a 1998 US Penny. No damage to the rubbed area.

Worked great. I was a little worried at first, did not want to mark up my phone. Not a scratch left on it.

Well I tried to use this method to remove the AT&T logo on my Torch, and it ended up taking the whole keyboard off. Is this a software issue? Or should I just bite the bullet and replace it?

No I'm just kidding. Worked great and didn't cause a single scratch! Lol
