I tried to download a new ringtone thru my Blackberry Torch 9800. It didn't work. I eventually got it to work, but now I have this new icon on my home screen (the screen that shows when you unlock the phone). It's on the line where a message or missed call icon appears; it's a '1' with a yellow globe (circle with lines thru it, like a basketball) after it. And I can't get it to go AWAY!!! I've looked in my download folder, but there's nothing there!!
Make sure to speak slowly...I am not tech savvy!!!

You likely installed an application. Go into Options, Device, Application Management and see if you have something in there you don't recognize.

Usually the yellow globe is related to the browser or message sent by your carrier.
You should check that too.
