I don't chase the phones if so you will be buying a new one every six months. Trying to catch up to the next best thing. I do have to say the Storm is pretty awesome even with its few flaws.
Hmmm the Bold with the full keyboard and touch screen is one id definitely be interested in...if it ever sees the light of day. Not really that fussed though...i absolutely adore my Bold that i have at the moment.
Something tells me the next storm will def. have a keyboard. I think RIM's rep as "on the go phones" as kevin would say is in peril with the storm.
i still love hte phone but thats because i read alot more email than i write on the phone, and i dont text alot right now.
but if i did text alot, or email alot i would hate the storm. its slow and mistakes are off the chart.
i think blackberry iwll never make a device without a keyboard again.
now what would be really cool would be if RIM could find some way of incorporating a keyboard that no one else has. something no one has thought of yet.
one thing i was thinking was a kebyard like the bold but the keys completely go inside the phone when the slider is closed.
so instead of having a big thick slider with crappy flat keys with no click in them, have the keys pop up when the phone slider is opened. how is that idea?
obviously if you put a keyboard like the bold on a slider the phone would be thicker than.... well thick. but suck the keys in, andthat could work. the space used to suck the keys in would be the space needed for them to have good travel too.
i still think when someone makes a projection screen that hovers in mid air above the phone, that will be the end all. the size could be adjusted to the way the user wants, and the whole phne can cbe a big keboard and trackball.
No matter how hard I try I fear I will never have the latest and greatest so I simply wait for what I like best out of the seemingly endless chioces that are out there at any given time. I more looking for a blackberry that will serve my purposes the best not what is the latest and greatest
Can't wait to see the 9030... Will probably replace my 8830 when that is available. Hopefully Verizon won't get it first and get an exclusive carry agreement.
