stop updates and reverse

hi guys , i need your help here please. i have a 9800 and just downloaded most recent software version and the phone is the worst its ever been and that black clock is there every time i go to do a text or email. please can you tell me the best way to downgrade the o.s. and stop further updates...many thanks in advance..cheers

The "best way to ... stop further updates" is to not update. That is an user issue not device issue. Nothing forces you to update.
