i really dont like sliders but i think this looks like a solid one. i like that the keyboard is about the same size of the bold and they didnt put a tiny on it like the pre has.
I think sliders are out now a days. However, the fact that the screen doesnt click is a huge plus. I had the storm for almost a year and the clicking was just driving me nuts. I love blackberry, but definitely won't get a slider.
There isn't enough information out there to make a decision right now. At least that's how I think about this phone.
Exactly my thought. I would also add what I'm looking for:
1. Change in resolution
2. Change in app memory
3. OpenGL support
4. Significant OS update..at least bring us to 2006,
If it has all 4 of these, its a winner in my books. I have a sinking feeling we may get only one of these though in which case its yet another hollow attempt.

I would def give it chance, like I mentioned on another forum, if my buddy had one, I would play with it for awhile. It looks like a Pre by the photos at first glance. If it was better than the Pre, yes I would buy it.
A Storm without the click screen and a side slide would sell I think.
i hear ya on that one, and it would look like a nicer phone too, come on i mean with the slide open on this thing it's gonna be like 10 inches long...if i wanted a phone that big i would bust out an old 80's brick phone.
I'm gonna have to get hands on with this before I can give a verdict. I loathe the horizontal slider because it's to hard to use with one hand. This may actually work for me.
Love the click screen of my Storm1. I really don't understand the dislike shown for it by keyboard lovers. If this has touch screen and keyboard it might appeal to both camps.
