    Hey,

I did a search about my problem and i didn't find anything similar.
I recently got myself a torch, but it had build quality issues like some others on this forum, so i got my carrier to send me another.

I backup-ed my first torch and tried to restore it on my new torch.
However after multiple attempts it's always "stuck" at restoring the service books (waited up to 20 minutes).

There's no problem with my browser or IM (if that's a way to confirm any service book issues).

Has this happen to anyone else? Help = ( ?

What carrier? Wipe the phone and send service books off the carriers website. Then Sync org data. After that you can do a selective restore via the DM of things like BBM and maybe your sound profiles etc.

    I use Rogers Wireless.
I have done that, and the phone is perfectly function-able
But i was wondering why it would freeze use during restoring of service books

Also, i have third party apps and those don't get restored?

one of the service books backed up could be corrupted or bad, causing the failure to restore. does everything else get restored at least? maybe try a prior backup? or like said above, do a selective restore.

No. Doing what I said you have to install all your apps again. This should clean things up.
