Default security wipe on torch affect phones "unlocked status"?

Hey everyone I'm coming back to blackberry from iPhone and ended up buying an unlocked phone. A few days later at&t offers me a new bb for a cheap price. So I'm going to sell the other on ebay but I'm concerned if I do a security wipe it will remove the "unlocked" status. How do I know if it stays unlocked or avoid locking it ?

    You'll be fine

Once a BlackBerry is unlocked, it will always be unlocked... nothing will affect this.

+1 security wipe, restore from a back-up, OS upgrade etc... Nothing will undo the unlocking...

If you decide to unlock your new device try www.freemyblackberry.com it's free, and usually within 24h

The only way the device can be re-locked, is by using special software only available to the cell carriers. Doing a security wipe yourself from the phone will leave the unlocked status intact.
