Default Security Wipe my 9800

Hi all,
I haven't been around for a while.
I have sold my Torch on ebay and am currently trying to do a security wipe.

I ticked all three boxes and then typed in blackberry.
It's been going for around 30 mins now.

How long should a security wipe take? It has not rebooted itself at all yet.
I'm starting to get really worried that this will destroy the device and I'll have to let down the buyer and give them a refund.

Any advice on time it takes or what to do if this fails, would be greatly appreciated.

It depends on how much data is on it. If you have music, videos, and lots of emails,it could take a while.

Worse case is you reinstall the os.
