If their on your sim card, NO. You will lose any information on the device itself.

Never store contacts on a SIM. The SIM cannot handle email accounts and multiple phone numbers for the same person. Sync to a PC or some service like Yahoo or Gmail. Then you can do a wipe or device switch and resync...
