Screen wont work when I slide the keypad out

When ever I use the keypad on my torch the screen will freeze and sometimes turn into crazy colors. When I slide my phone back to the close position I have to lock and unlock my phone for the screen to go back to normal. Anything I type using the keypad wont show up until I close the screen. The touch screen part works perfectly fine but I dont like typing on it. Anyone have this problem before or know how to fix it?

it's happen to mine before.. What i did was, buy myself a torch 9810.. Just kidding but really, i did bought a 9810 to replace my torch.. been googling for a fix but cant seem to find a fix.. I still have it with me but it just act as a paperweight.. Hope somebody else finds a fix for it.
