A couple of months in and my Torch's touch-screen capability has (intermittently) gone wacky. Symptom is that you touch the screen and it does not respond, the respective key or part of the screen might show something but nothing actually happens. The physical buttons at the bottom of the device work fine.

My assessment is that part of the screen is acting if it is being permanently touched as when I touch the screen and move my finger it will zoom the screen.

Called Vodafone Aust and they are replacing phone under warranty.

Not much written in the forum, not sure if others have the same issue. We have three Torch BB's here and my one is the only one with this issue.

Its just a fault within the phone. I had the same issue when I got my first torch. When I contacted my carriers warranty department they also sent me a replacement. Just like anyother electronic device some of them will be lemons.

I'm with tgerm on this. My first torch also had this hardware flaw.
