RIM always seems to improve and enhance their products as they bring GSM devices to CDMA. For example, the standard GSM curve had 64 megs of memory until they came to Verizon with 90 megs of memory making the 8330 the most popular Blackberry of all time. Look at the Bold which had a super keyboard. It went thru another model on GSM with the 9700 with a shrunken keyboard. But as it came to CDMA at Verizon, a larger and maybe the best keyboard ever came with it as well as double the on board memory.

Let's hope this trend continues at RIM as they prepare to launch the Torch in a CDMA device. Wouldn't it be great IF the CDMA Verizon Torch had 1 gig processor, high resolution screen, and more on board memory?

    This is a repeat thread.

There is not much chance that VZW will get the Torch.

RIM developed the Torch in partnership with AT&T.
AT&T sells more BB than any other carriers.
VZW is moving more toward Androids and and away from RIM
S3 is the only BB possibly going to RIM.
The exclusivity appears to be similar to the iPhone.

This is a link to one thread asking the same question. No offense but a snowball would have a better chance.

The Tour body is slightly larger than the 9700, but the actual keys on the keyboard are smaller.

And there is a solid argument that the 9650 processor (although it has openGL) is actually slower than the 9700/9800 processor...

    Just sayin
