    W/o thinking I update Windows Live Messenger and *before* rebooting also updated Yahoo Messenger and now I am on the reboot cycle .

    Is my only option to reload the OS? If so where is the latest thread detailing the step by step procedure?

    I am so kicking myself for this as I havent backed up in a bit. Stupid Stupid.

    [Update: Connecting this phone to the "Blackberry Desktop Software" seems to have interrupted the reboot cycle and all seems fine right now]

    Lucky...do you have any tips? I did the same thing (w/two different programs), not re-starting in between installs, and I'm stuck in the re-boot cycle right now. I tried plugging into Desktop Manager but it didn't work.

    This is odd, I never reboot in between when updating more than one thing, I always d/l all of the updates and just reboot once at the end. Never had any issues.
