Ready to go back to Blackberry but gosh....
- OP, you are entitled to your opinion. It is important to make an informed decision for yourself that is based upon actual experience. On balance, feedback has been positive. Some of the negative feedback was fair but a great deal of it came from owners who were not willing to give the device a try and were disappointed that the Torch was not the iPhone or Android killer. Totally unrealisitic. People also get lost in the specs versus other devices. You need to test the device and decide if it meets your needs.

Shall we pull out all the useless threads you started or potsed in...
"The torch is the best BB ever"
"Torch owns the 9700"
so on and so forth... I was to lazy to actually look for the posts, but you get the idea. Anything this guy says should be taken with a grain of salt.
Oh yeah there was also that thread about reselling the 9700 as an unbranded 9780 and making a killing off people that didn't know any better.
I liken you to people like 67trucker, people like you do nothing for these forums, and should be removed with extreme malice.
Even. 9000 is better than the Torch IMHO, the battery life is half of that on the 9700 and the 9780; and the physical keyboard is so flat for my likng. The BOLD keyboard owns it.
I had the torch for 1 week, I returned it as I couldn't live with that virtual keyboard os virtual keyboard.
Just my 2 cents

For the record:
You really should have taken the advice BB Wulf gave you. Can't believe I actually spoke up to give you another chance on here. Won't happen again.11-28-10 11:33 PMLike 0 -
- I love my Torch. I came from an iPhone 3G and really didn't like the touch keyboard. In fact, now that I'm using the Torch, I don't even use the touchscreen. I do everything with the physical keyboard and the main BB menu (I hate fingerprints on my screen!!).
I don't have any "wiggle" problems and I'm with bbstoof that I think the wiggle was a complaint from one or two people and then got blown up unnecessarily from there.
My only wish? The keyboard was bigger. My thumbs get cramped if I do a lot of heavy typing.
Best of luck with your decision!11-29-10 02:33 PMLike 0 -
It's not uncommon for there to be issues with new models of a lot of things when they are first introduced particularly when there is pressure to get them on the market on schedule. But I've not had one single issue with my 9700 since the day I took it out of the box. It is rock solid and, believe me, it has had rough use. I'll be getting a Torch just as soon as I'm eligible for an upgrade and am sure I will like it as much as I do my 9700.11-29-10 03:17 PMLike 0
